It's frustrating that hiring managers, after all these years, still think that UX is just a tool and not a process. So, when they don't need the tool anymore (i.e. Figma), they don't think they need you either.
UX has so many facets, and we can provide value in so many areas of a project or problem, and hiring managers are just not getting that. Especially more senior practitioners, like myself.
